The students are memorizing a poem,"If We Do Not Try". I am hoping this poem will motivate, and encourage students to set goals, and strive for personal success.
The short stories are coming along. The students have completed the revision and editing. They will begin typing the final copy (in class) this week using Microsoft Word.
There is a wonderful website, Spellcity.com that the students are using to study their spelling Bee words. This site provides practice and helps incorporate computer technology in the classroom. Who says learning can't be fun?
